Our Indestructible Champion Juicer

indestructable champion juicer
Let me tell you about our indestructible Champion Juicer. It is one of the most durable juicers on the market and here's what happened to ours.

Right before dinner one evening I was working in our office at home and my wife Jean was making juice with the Champion Juicer out in the kitchen.

She had finished making juice and was in the process of clean up and all of a sudden I heard her scream, "NO!", and then I heard a loud thud! I thought Jean had fallen off of a chair or the counter.

I hurried out into the kitchen not knowing what to expect and found our Champion Juicer laying on the floor next to the cat's dish. Thank God our cat Emily wasn't eating at the time. I also noticed a 1/4 inch gash in the ceramic tile floor.

After finding out that Jean and our cat Emily were okay, my next thought was, 'Well, there goes our $250 Champion Juicer.' I was sure it was a goner.

The juicer fell right on one of its legs sticking out the front and had a bit of paint scratched off the leg. Also, the cord was slightly pulled out from the bottom of the juicer but no other damage was apparent until we assembled it and plugged it in...

Nothing...

Okay now I'm thinking, 'When can we get or order a new one.' We eat an almost completely raw diet and juicing is essential to our lifestyle so, for us, going without a juicer is not an option.

Well, I thought I'd at least give it a better look over to see if I could find out why it wasn't working. I removed the covering from the bottom of the juicer and the only thing I could see was that a wire was pulled off a lead going to the motor.

I put the wire back on the lead, we reassembled the unit (the Champion won't run with the cover off of the blade) plugged it in, flicked the switch, and viola, it worked! No Kidding.

Our indestructible Champion Juicer now runs like it always did making juice for us on a regular basis. If anything would destroy a piece of equipment like a juicer, I certainly thought dropping it from a height of about 4 feet onto a tile floor would, but it didn't.

The Champion Juicer is so tough you can drop it off your counter top and it will keep on working. While I wouldn't recommend testing out your Champion Juicer by putting it through this same abuse, at least you know it will last if you ever have an accident like this.
