Crust:
1 Cup raisins
2 Cups almonds
pinch of sea salt
3 tablespoons of carob
Place above ingredients in food processor with S blade and process in to a meal that can be pressed into a 9x9 pan.
Filling:
1 Cup raw tahini
4 Tablespoons cocoa
½ Cup honey
½ cup water
Place above ingredients for the filling in the food processor with the S blade and process until smooth. Adjust amount of water to get desired consistency. Pour German chocolate cake recipe filling over crust and place in refrigerator to chill until topping is ready.
Topping:
1 cup coconut
1 Cup pecans
½ cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pinch of sea salt
Process above ingredients together in food processor until mixture reaches desires consistency. Carefully spread topping over top of chocolate filling. Place cake in refrigerator and chill until ready to serve. We recently served this recipe at one of our raw dinners and it was a big hit. We’re sure it will be a hit with you and your family too.
