Energy Bars For A Quick Healthy Snack

energy bars
Energy bars are a great way to get something quick to eat when you are on the go and don't have time to prepare a meal.

The trouble with many of these bars is that they are being advertised as healthy and "good for you" when in fact they are not. In reality many of the health food bars on the market today are loaded with chemicals and food additives. They aren't any different than eating a glorified candy bar.

I'm sure you have been frustrated trying to find a good quality, satisfying energy bar without all of the junk in it, we have too.

Then we came across Greens+ (Greens Plus) Energy Bars...

And we said, "Wow dude, these are good!"

The great thing about these bars is that they are actually good for you and they taste great, something you don't find in most healthy energy bars. Most usually taste like cardboard.

Greens+ bars are loaded with living, all natural food, not processed ingredients. They contain ingredients like wheat grass powder, barley grass powder, organic apple fiber, organic medjool dates and other natural foods.

In fact, below is a list of all of the ingredients. It's kind of boring reading, but at least you can pronounce the ingredients instead of it being like you're reading what's in a chemistry set.

Here they are:

Organic medjool dates, organic almond butter, organic quinoa sprout powder, non-gmo soy protein isolate, original GREENS+® powder (non-gmo soy lecithin, organic Hawaiian spirulina, organic apple fiber, barley grass powder, wheat grass powder, Japanese chlorella, hydroponic soy sprouts, organic brown rice bran, sprouted barley malt, alfalfa grass powder, dairy-free probiotics, royal jelly, Montana bee pollen, acerola berry juice, natural vitamin E, licorice root powder, milk thistle extract, echinacea root extract, Siberian Eleuthero root extract, astragalus root extract, licorice root extract, organic red beet juice, dunaliella salina algae, organic Nova Scotia Dulse, organic ginkgo biloba leaf extract, organic Japanese green tea extract, grape seed and skin extract, organic Swedish bilberry extract), organic rice crisps, wildflower honey, mixed tocopherols (natural vitamin E).

You won't see a list of ingredients for most energy bars. That's because most companies don't want you to know what they put in their bars.

Here's a testimony about the Greens+ Natural Energy Bar from the manufacturers web site:

I live in a small town with a few health food stores, but last week I was in L.A. at whole foods and I saw these bars. I've tried tons and tons of bars. I love lara bars and I really like luna bars too. But I started reading the ingredients in the greens + natural flavor and I was soooo amazed at all the amazing stuff in it. Of course I had to immediately buy one. I ate it and can safely say its the best health/energy bar I have ever had. Simply incredible. I was back the next day buying a whole lot more. Hopefully my local health food store can start carrying them. I will write a letter of recommendation to them. DO NOT EVER STOP MAKING THESE BARS!!!!!

And you know what's cool about this testimony from Drew? He's not even talking about the chocolate flavored bars! Add a little chocolate coating to these bars and I do cartwheels for them. You will too.

Really, if you're looking for the best tasting, real food energy bars on the market, you have to try these Greens Plus Energy Bars. I'm sure you'll want to keep a case around at all times just for those, "I need a snack now!" moments. You might even do cartwheels for the chocolate ones.
