Dark Chocolate Truffle Recipe
Bet you never expected to see the word healthy in the same sentence as dark chocolate truffles recipe.

If you are reading this page, it’s likely you have made a choice to eat healthy and you have removed all the bad stuff from your diet, yet every now and then you still desire something really decadent.

Well, there’s good news, you can have the best of both worlds with these raw dark chocolate truffles. Thanks to one of our Healthy Diet Podcast listeners, Tara from Ontario, who sent us one of her favorite recipes called Raw Brownies. They are delicious just the way Tara describes making them below:

Raw Brownies / Chocolate Truffles

1 c. date paste (or pitted dates and 2tbs water)
1 1/4 c. almond butter
1 1/4 c. organic cocoa/carob powder
1/3 c. raw honey -smush in 9 x 9 glass tray and freeze!! Done! How easy is that!

If you prefer to have a decadent dark chocolate dessert that’s a little easier to handle, then try rolling the mixture into walnut size balls (this is where the truffles come in), then roll them in either crushed walnuts, dried coconut or cocoa powder and voila you have made a dark chocolate truffles recipe.
