2 Simple Recipes For Thanskgiving November 22, 2011 |
Butternut Squash Recipes For Thanksgiving Hi, Just in time for Thanksgiving and all the busy preparations you are probably making now, here are a couple of helpful recipes that you can add to your meal. The first one is a delicious butternut squash soup that we eat occasionally at our house. It is very simple to make and is healthy on top of that. The second recipe isn't really a recipe, it is just directions on how to prepare a butternut squash. Maybe you've never cooked one of these squashes before, or maybe you have seen them in the produce section of you local supermarket, they're the large sort of intimidating vegetables that are shaped weird and are as hard as a rock, and thought, 'I have no idea how I'd prepare one of those.' Well, they are actually very easy to prepare and they are delicious, I mean, really delicious. You can make them like mashed potatoes or you can make a soup from them or just add them to other dishes. Once you get the first one prepared, you will probably be eating them much more often. We just wanted to give out a couple of quick tips/recipes for your Thanksgiving weekend meal and hope you have a blessed time during this holiday with friends, family or whoever you spend time with.
