What's New At The Healthy Diet Website?

Hi,

We've been updating ezHealthyDiet.com over the last several weeks adding more recipes, nutrition articles gardening information and more that we hope readers like you can use.

Check out some of the recent new stuff at the Healthy Diet website:

Lemon Bars Recipe - Here's a great recipe for those of you who like traditional lemon bars. They're a raw version made with a macadamia nut crust and avocado to make them nice and creamy with a crunchy crust.

Lentils Recipe - We've discovered a delicious lentils and rice recipe at a local Mediterranean restaurant and we've recreated it in this recipe. You won't believe how easy it is to make.

Cacao Sesame Cookies - If you love chocolate cookies, here's a nice, guilt free cookie made with cocoa nibs that you can eat raw or dehydrate.

Edible Hibiscus Plant - If you didn't know you can eat hibiscus, you can, you just have to eat the right one. In fact we just planted one in our yard that was given to us by a friend.

Heirloom Tomatoes - We recently planted some heirloom tomatoes in our garden and even though they look a little different than what you may buy at your local produce stand, they taste delicious.

Vegetable Nutrition - This is one of my favorite pages we recently put up because it explodes the myth that vegans don't get enough protein. The next time one of your meat eating friends asks, "But where do you get your protein?" you can shown them this page.

Hummus Recipe - If you are a fan of hummus, check out this tasty and easy hummus recipe that you can make in just a few minutes.

Kitchen Storage - Would you like some additional kitchen storage? How about getting rid of your dishwasher. What, are you kidding? No, we're not kidding. We got rid of our dishwasher because we never use it, we wash dishes by hand. Now we have an new kitchen cabinet where we can keep our dehydrator and other equipment that was taking up counter space.

Kitchen Compost - What are you going to do with all your kitchen scraps? If you eat lots of veggies like we do, you end up with lots of food scraps so we compost them. If you are gardening, then composting is a great way to take care of the extra organic garbage in your kitchen and use it for rich, nutritious soil.

Well, that's probably enough reading, delicious recipes and gardening ideas for this month. Stay tuned for September's newsletter and find out what else is new at ezHealthyDiet.com.

As always we want to thank you for subscribing to Healthy Diet News. Until next time...
