The Diet Scams Never Stop - Plus Recipe Of The Month

Hi,

Just as one diet pill scam starts to fade, another is waiting in the wings to give those wanting to lose weight false hope and unfortunately, take their hard earned money. Ever since the news show 60 Minutes ran their story on the health benefits of red wine and the ingredient known as resveratrol, scammers have been busy creating all sorts of potions and pills that will supposedly help you lose weight, live longer, have more energy or some such small miracle.

What you have to watch out for is the supposedly free offers that will let you try these supplements only for a shipping and handling cost somewhere around $6.95. These offers are never free because they end up costing you the initial shipping fee and then after your free trial ends, many times before you even receive the product, your credit card is billed a monthly recurring fee of $89 or higher that is nearly impossible to cancel. Learn more about how you can avoid the resveratrol scam here.

Recipe Of The Month

We're starting a new feature for you at the Healthy Diet News called the Recipe of The Month where we will feature one of the mostly raw dishes from our popular healthy recipe section of our website. First up this month is our Easy Chili recipe. Jean makes this chili quite frequently and it is one of my favorite mostly raw dishes, but one of the best things about this recipe is that it only takes about 30 minutes to put together as long as you plan ahead.

Ingredients include:

2 ¼ cups chopped fresh tomatoes
¼ cup soaked sun dried tomatoes
2/3 chopped celery
½ cup chopped sweet onion
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 jalapeno slice
1 cup fresh cilantro
¾ teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
¼ teaspoon coriander
1 tablespoon honey
2 cups finely chopped zucchini
¼ cup finely chopped sweet onion
2 cups of dark red canned or sprouted and cooked kidney beans

Plan ahead preparation is simple and includes sprouting kidney beans (if you don't use canned beans) and soaking sun dried tomatoes for 1 hour.
