Beware Of The Acai Scam Diets, Yes, They Are Scams

Hi,

Another year is upon us and many an individual probably overdid it during the holidays. Jean and I unfortunately partook in some treats that we don't normally eat on a regular basis. It's hard to keep your diet in check when there are goodies in front of you where ever you go, be it the office, grandmas house or even your own home.

Being that's the case, January is the biggest time of the year for deciding to go on a diet. It is also the biggest time of the year for online marketers to offer all sorts of crazy ideas and supposedly exciting new offers to get you to loose weight. One of the most pervasive diets you may have seen lately is something in the way of an acai berry type diet where you are offered a "free trial". Be warned, almost all of these offers promoting so-called acai berry free trials are huge rip-offs.

The companies running these deals get your credit card and send you a trial you don't have time to fully try out and then they charge your card $80 or more per month and make it nearly impossible to cancel. And watch out for the acai berry scam sites as well. When you look up those words in a search engine almost all the sites aren't really telling you what a scam these things are, they're just trying to sell you the very same products. I've written more info on these acai berry scams here if you'd like to read about how they end up taking your money.

Diet pills and potions most of the time don't end up helping you in the long run because nothing substitutes for fresh, nutritious food, the kind that is really going to give your body what it needs. Diets are doomed to fail because they aren't going to help you when you go off them. Lifestyle change is the key. You have to determine to eat the most nutritious food possible all the time, not just when you want to lose weight.

To help you along the way, you can visit our healthy recipes page where you can see a multitude of delicious entrees, desserts, snacks, smoothies, salads and more that will get you on the right track to breaking the habit of the Standard American Diet or SAD. Don't worry, if you're already committed to eating healthy, there's plenty of healthy recipes there for you too.
